ELM's Planned Vision
Echo Life Ministries' main goal is to build a strong discipleship atmosphere for men and women. Whether we do it through a church we are connected or by our own means. The idea is we want to help strengthen what is means to disciple Christians.
There are a lot of people these days who feel themselves "hurt by the church". We have experienced that ourselves, but we have also experience how God can heal over time. We have allow God to help us trust the church again. I do believe a missing element is understanding that Discipling is not about just going to church and church events. It is about the every day.
There are many Christian who also lack the discipline to read the Bible and Study it. We are being bombarded by online "Christian Gurus" who teach false ideology, and the lack of proper Christian Education can cause many to fall away from God's truth.
Vision Plan 1- Build a Discipling Presence
Our hope is to build a Discipling presence in the county of Coweta GA. We are willing to work with local churches in building a stronger Men's and Women's Ministry for them that emphasizes the proper way of discipling including:
1) Regularly Praying for one another
2) Do studies together
3) Fellowship and Fun opportunities (not limited to church events)
4) Serving in their church, community, and neighborhoods as Salt and Light of the Gospel Message
There needs to be time for men to be with men, women to be with women who will walk along the every day life, battles, and more. These ministries will establish small groups of 5-7 people. They will meet regularly, encourage on another, keep each other accountable, and challenge one another to walk as followers of Jesus Christ.
Vision Plan 2: Possible House Church or Group
We would like to start a church or at least a Discipling Group. We would like to meet regularly on topics of concerns in the church (false teachings and ideologies), proper Christian Education, help new to the faith, and build men and women groups. We are open to see if God will connect us with people who fit a long our concerns, discipling desires, Gospel focused church/ministry.
Pray for God's timing and plan to come into play for this ideal.
Vision Plan 3: Physical Place
If the second vision plan leads into this vision plan then we know God has been preparing this to be the 3rd step. When we are considering a physical place we have several thoughts on how that would look like for the ministry. Some times the idea of a physical place for a ministry or church can only come together when God brings people together with the same desires. Our physical plan idea are:
1) Discipling Group with a Chapel. This is what we would love to come together. We want to build a building that has a chapel space and another section for Christian Education, study, and Bible Study Groups to have space. We believe this would allow us to have a church of sorts with the ability to help other Christian Communities to have a place to have Bible Studies. We would also like to have at some point a Coffee Cafe' to be a way to reach the community, provide job experience, and support ministries through the Cafe'.
2) If it is a church established then it will be designed for worship on Sundays, Christian Education, and training. It will have a worship, prayer, and fellowship. We do believe fellowship is more than just showing up for church when the door is open. We want to make sure that members and staff are investing in each other as the church.
*Plan Extension to the above:
Later down the road- We would like to consider created acreage where we place several small houses to be used for people (18+) a quiet atmosphere for them to focus on God, there walk, struggles, and be away from the distractions of their life. We would like to provide a prayer walk, Archery, Axe throwing, art room, and more to practice focus, destress, and one-on-one time with God.
